Diva – Latin for Goddess

Diva Plates is a small Australian business based in beautiful Far North Queensland and run by me, artist Mel Bee.

 

What began as a collection of hand-painted Diva ceramics and original artworks has grown into a colourful range of products, including Diva melamine plates, tea towels, prints and special limited releases of hand-painted ceramics and original art.

The expansion came about simply because people kept asking for more Divas in their lives!​

 

The Glam Divas are inspired by the wonderful women we all know and love. Whether it's a family member, friend, neighbour or work colleague, we've all met a Judith, Davina, Patricia or Brittany—or someone very much like them.

 

Each Diva has her own personality, style and story. They're bold, sassy, colourful and full of character, celebrating the humour, strength and individuality that make women so special.​

 

These original designs are created for the Diva in all of us.

And while the name might be Diva Plates, it's not just about plates—it's about art, personality, colour and bringing a little joy into everyday life.
